Please note: Avalon Music School will be CLOSED for our 2008 summer holliday from 4th August.
We will reopen on the 1st September.

1.	Definition of terms - "you" means the Payee so named on the application for tuition order form. “Avalon Music School” means Avalon Music School Ltd of 44A Hollybush Lane Sevenoaks Kent TN13 3TJ, also referred to as "we" or “our” in these Terms and Conditions.
2.	Full payment for courses and trial lessons is required in advance prior to any commencement of tuition.
3.	Lesson / Course fees are non-refundable.
4.	Lessons cannot be cancelled, postponed or credited.
5.	When booking a continuous course of lessons you will be invoiced on lesson 4 of each course for the next course of 5 lessons. Payment is required by lesson 5. Failure to pay said invoice before next course start date will necessitate the time slot holding deposit to be used towards missed payment. Further courses will recommence only when invoice and time slot holding deposit have been paid. Pupils wishing to discontinue lessons are required to give notice in writing one course ahead (5 weeks). The time slot holding deposit will then be used towards payment against the final course at the prevailing continuing course rate.
6.	Pupils are required to provide their own musical instruments (with the exception of piano and drums). These instruments to be of a good standard with an adequate supply of accessories so as to maintain their playability. (Guitar strings, Reeds, Drum Sticks etc.)
7.	Pupils should undertake REGULAR DAILY PRACTICE. Avalon Music School reserve the right to discontinue lessons where progress, effort and / or attendance are unsatisfactory
8.	All music books and manuscript paper to be provided by the pupil.
9.	We reserve the right to: (a) delegate a substitute teacher. (b) postpone a lesson, at short notice, in circumstances beyond our control. (c) change tuition costs. We will give a course notice of any changes.
10.	We provide tuition on a continuous basis. The school will be closed on Bank Holidays and for certain other periods during the year. These times will be posted on the notice board in the music school.
11.	Any decision concerning tuition made by Avalon Music School Ltd. shall be final and we reserve the right to alter the conditions without prior notice.

Commencement of tuition confirms to Avalon Music School Ltd. that you have read, understood and agreed to
abide by the above terms and conditions concerning Avalon Music School tuition.
